有名なラップのメーカーであるサランラップとクレラップに違いはあるのでしょうか？

サランラップとは？

代表的なラップの種類の１つが今回ご紹介するサランラップとなっております。
今回粗溶解しているサランラップは旭化成から作成されている出位のラップで、ポリ塩化ビニリデンという素材で作られています。
ポリ塩化ビニリデンは、通常使用されるポリエチレン製や塩化ビニール製とは違い、酸素とニオイを通しにくくなっています。
サイズは多様で、レギュラーサイズだと15cm、22cm、30cmの3サイズですが、業務用のタイプだと45cmのたっぷりサイズもあります。
また、業務用商品外刃タイプだと、30cm、45cmを扱っています。
長さは50mロールと、20mロールが選べますよ。
クレラップとは？

もう一つの代表的なラップの種類にクレラップがあります。
クレラップはクレハから発売されている製品で、サランラップと同じ素材のポリ塩化ビニリデン製が使用されています。
ポリ塩化ビニリデン製はみずみずしさを守り、酸素とニオイ移りを防ぎ、ピタッと器に密着する威力が強いと言われています。
その他にも特徴として、熱や気温変化に強い素材なので電子レンジや冷凍保存にも適しています。
クレラップのサイズはサランラップ同様に15cm、22cm、30cmがあり、それぞれ20mと50mの長さが選べるようです。

選び方その①素材の特徴で選ぶ
特に、肉や魚などの生鮮食品を保存する際には、ポリ塩化ビニリデンの仕様がおすすめになっています。
選び方その②レンジでの使用なら耐熱性の高い素材がおすすめ
電子レンジで食品ラップを使用する場合は、高温まで耐える必要があるため、ポリ塩化ビニリデンや塩化ビニル樹脂の素材で出来ているラップを使用してみて下さい。
各素材の耐冷熱性は次の通りになっています。
- ポリ塩化ビニリデン：-60℃～140℃
- 塩化ビニル樹脂：-60℃～130℃
- ポリエチレン：-60℃～110℃
耐熱性に優れるポリ塩化ビニリデンや塩化ビニル樹脂を使う場合であっても、電子レンジで油分が多いものを調理して加熱する際は要注意となっています。
油が耐熱温度を超えると、食品ラップが溶けてしまい穴が空いてしまう可能性があります。
そのため、油分が豊富なものを加熱する場合はできるだけラップと接触させずに加熱するように心がけましょう。
選び方その③刃の位置や素材もチェック
家庭用ラップは安全性を重視して刃が下向きについていますが、業務用ラップは素早くカットできるように刃が底面についています。どちらが使いやすいかは人それぞれですが、使いやすさに大きく関わる部分なので確認しましょう。
また、金属製の刃の場合は、外箱から取り外して不燃ごみ・金属ごみとして処分する自治体が多いです。なかには可燃ごみとしてそのまま処分できる商品もありますので、刃の素材もチェックすることをおすすめします。
